Assistance

Mother Nancy receives assistance requests on the

4th Wednesday of each month from 10am to 10:30am.

St. Nicholas’ provides emergency assistance with utility bills (water, electricity, and gas) and medical bills.  We do not provide rent assistance.  You must bring a copy of the bill and your identification card. Checks will be made payable to the company and not individuals.

The purpose of our assistance program is to provide aid to an individual or family who, because of an unexpected event, is unable to meet their current, regular financial obligations.  We ask that everyone who requests assistance complete a request form and speak with our priest about the situation.  Completing the form does not guarantee financial assistance but helps us together determine the best course of action to meet each need.

The goal of our program is to ensure that those requesting assistance are able to regain self-sufficiency.  If you are unable on a regular basis to balance your income and expenses, please allow us to refer you to a local program that will work with you on a long-term basis to help lead you to financial self-sufficiency.

If you need food assistance please contact the Jubilee Center Food Pantry, 3311 Andrews Highway, Midland, 432-520-0671, www.jubileemidland.org.

We also encourage you to contact Texas Health and Human Services to inquire about the benefits you and your family qualify for: 3401 N. A Street, Midland, 432-687-1591.  Go to www.yourtexasbenefits.com to learn more about the variety of services provided.

As always, all are welcome (really!) to join us for worship and fellowship on Sunday mornings beginning at 9:30am.
