About This Blog

This blog is intended to be a place for news, discussion of topics of interests, and other communications that might matter to members and friends of St. Nicholas’ Episcopal Church in Midland. Anyone who wishes can register and post, and anyone can comment on a post by simply filling in your name and E-mail. However,  I will moderate a bit if things get inappropriate.

To comment on a post, just go to the bottom of the post to the line that says Posted in [Some thread] | Edit | No Comments or [1 or more Comments] ».

Click on the last section (with the word “comments” in it), fill in your name and e-mail (the e-mail isn’t visible on the Blog) and write your comment. It will be posted soon after it’s written, and the discussion can continue.

If you want to start a new conversation, which in blog-speak means to write a Post, it’s a bit trickier; but not a problem. To do that you have to be registered on the blog. The easiest way to do that is to let me know and I will register you and send you the information about loging in. Or, if you want to do it yourself, go to http://stnicksmt.org/blog/wp-login.php (or click the “log in” link under Episcopal Links on the column to your right) and click on Register. You then enter your name, and your E-Mail address. The blog will mail you a password and you use that when you go  back to the log-in page and you are inside the bowles of the program. You will see a link on the left, under “Dashboard” that says Posts. Click that and “Add New” and you have the space for both a heading and for the body of the Post. This is where you add your new post and off we go. By the ay, under the profile category under “Dashboard” you can change your password to something easier to use than the one the Blog generates for you.  Give it a try if you are interested, and let me know if you have any problems.

Hi, there! I really enjoy receiving this message every week. St. Nick’s is gracious to send it to me. I have been meaning to “blog” but never seem to have the time. NOW I don’t have the brain cells left to follow the above suggestions. All I can remember is to change the given password when I get it! Ha ha.j

    Love to you all!!
